Gwynn Smith has more than 10 years of increasing levels of healthcare management responsibilities. She has implemented systems and strategies that supported the development of new business and retention of current business, consistent with the organizations financial and market objectives.

Ms. Smith has experience in bringing significant organizational change while maintaining a strong focus in all business decisions and actions to increase high levels of client satisfaction.

Ms. Smith's experience includes:
Providing consultation in developing on-site business offices for hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, home health agencies, and outpatient centers, including the purchase of billing systems, setting up an EDI system, developing the policy and procedure manuals, implementing productivity levels, and training agency staff on billing for all payor classifications
Directing the operations of a statewide corporation which implemented and organized extended business office contracts to interface with operations, clinical services, MIS, and the accounting departments
Managing a group health insurance division, with staff in administration, underwriting and claims

Ms. Smith received her B.A. in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing from the New Mexico State University. She also holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from California State University at Fresno.
