Healthcare administrators are increasingly being asked to justify their arrangements with physicians especially in terms of negotiated contracts for services, and many of these arrangements involve some version of “Fair Market Value.” It may be an appraisal of a building or valuation of the purchase price of a physician practice, but many other issues are also subject to Fair Market Value review.
